The Dirt Devil is the best choice for affordability without sacrificing cleaning power. During testing, we found it particularly useful for cleaning hard-to-reach corners like stair crevices or under furniture. Its small size makes it easy to carry around, making it convenient for cleaning car interiors or floor mats.
The machine is intuitive and easy to set up; we didn’t have to fiddle with parts or fill the water tank. It worked great on tough stains like red wine and dark soda, leaving almost no trace of the stain after it dried. We also loved that it’s small and easy to store, so it doesn’t take up much space.
The only caveat is that its water tank capacity is much smaller than other portable carpet cleaners we’ve tried. At just 19 fluid ounces, it’s enough for small areas, but probably not enough for larger jobs.
At home, this vacuum is a lifesaver for cleaning the couch where your dog often sleeps. It easily removes dog drool, dirty paw prints, snack stains, and spilled coffee. We especially like its long power cord, which helps us clean areas that a shorter cord can’t reach.
