This steam mop received top marks among all the models we tested, including the Shark series. Weighing just 5 pounds, it’s lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry between rooms or up and down stairs. The 15 ounces of hot water in the tank heat up in less than 10 seconds.
The swivel steering feature was very convenient, making it easier to maneuver around furniture, and the square mop head design allowed us to get into 90-degree corners with ease. While testing, we noticed that it took repeated wiping to thoroughly clean corners, and if there was any lingering debris in the corner, it might be easier to clean by hand.
After cleaning with the mop, we were able to touch the mop head and cleaning pad immediately without getting burned, which again adds to the convenience of using a steam mop for quick cleaning.
One downside we found was that we had to handle the dirty mop pad in order to remove the wet cleaning pad, as it doesn’t have a touch-free feature, which is a plus for other models.
While it’s a basic model and dealing with a dirty mop pad can be frustrating, for what it’s worth, we think this mop will run smoothly every time and can handle multiple types of floors and stains.
