With the weather in the UK being so unpredictable, it’s no wonder many of us spend half the year waiting for the sun to come out. With long spells of rain and cold, our gardens and outdoor spaces might need some TLC come summer.
With the sun making its way out, it might be time to think about giving your garden a makeover. If you want to sit outside and soak up the sun, your patio or deck might be a good option.
For an easy freshen up, a pressure washer is a great choice.
A pressure washer works by sending high-pressure water through a nozzle, which, when aimed at a surface, washes away dirt and grease.
While pressure washers can often cost hundreds of pounds, some are available at B&Q for less than £65.
One of these, the Tough Master pressure washer, is currently on sale for £61.99 on the B&Q website.
Not only is this cheaper than many pressure washers, it’s also got some great reviews.
One customer said: “Bought it a few weeks ago and couldn’t be happier with the results. My patio is 30 years old but it looks brand new.”
Another said: “Great value for money and really works on both the patio and the car.”
The product is electrically powered and needs to be connected to a mains supply.
Screwfix suggests that 110 to 130 bar is suitable for a “medium” pressure washer.
The Tough Master product has a maximum operating pressure of 110 bar.
The product is also claimed to be “portable” and weighs just 6.45 kg.
