For a model that can handle both wet and dry stains, we recommend the Roborock Dyad Pro. It removed nearly every stain in one go, and was especially good at cleaning grout, laminate, and hardwood floors.
We were impressed by its ability to smoothly switch between coffee grounds, mayonnaise, and wet cereal, adjusting the cleaning intensity as needed.
Honestly, this vacuum can do it all—even an accidental spill of apple juice didn’t leave any sticky residue. Six months later, it still works just as well as it did on day one.
During testing, we found this vacuum to be very maneuverable. It cleaned coffee grounds around the edge of a bookshelf better than we expected, and it easily got around chair legs. We did notice a few streaks on the hardwood floors, but otherwise, the floors were spotless.
We also liked that it can be placed upright so you don’t have to lean against a wall between cleanings. Plus, it has a handy LED indicator to highlight dirt and debris. Note, however, that the handle is not adjustable.
Assembly and app setup was a little tricky at first, as we weren’t sure how to remove the drip tray, but we appreciated the drum’s self-cleaning and self-drying features. It has quiet-dry and quick-dry modes, and you can customize the speed to suit your needs.
We loved the audio feature that notifies you if something is stuck in the drum or when it’s time to empty the container. However, when something was stuck in the drum, we found it difficult to remove.
