Tork Vision Cleaning took center stage at the Essity booth (Booth H16), as the data-driven technology celebrated its 10th anniversary.
An estimated 1.2 billion trips are now made through Tork Vision Cleaning connected buildings. More than 1.3 million messages are sent daily to cleaning staff using the system through 100,000 connected devices.
Tork Vision Cleaning allows staff to remotely view restroom usage and dispenser refills via a smartphone or tablet. They can then target locations that need to be restocked with soap or paper towels.
“We are seeing a growing demand for data-driven cleaning technology, especially in high-traffic spaces such as airports, stadiums and large office buildings,” said Pablo Fuentes, president of Essity’s global specialty hygiene business.
“This solution has direct market experience, providing data to empower cleaning staff, reduce restroom user complaints and improve cleaning efficiency.” ”
Another highlight at the Clean Show is the Tork Focus4 Sustainability programme, which aims to increase transparency and help customers achieve their sustainability goals.
Lydia Brant, Sustainability and Tendering Specialist at Essity Professional Hygiene, added: “Customers need clear and easy-to-understand sustainability data to guide their decisions when selecting suppliers. Tork Focus4 Sustainability provides a comprehensive overview of the key sustainability benefits of the selected Tork system.”
Also on display will be the Tork PeakServe continuous toilet paper dispenser – which only dispenses one sheet of paper at a time, preventing toilet users from taking too many – and the Tork SmartOne toilet paper dispenser. As it automatically limits the amount of toilet paper people take, it can reduce usage by up to 40%.
Essity will also be showcasing its Tork PaperCircle tissue recycling service. This service reduces the total carbon footprint by 40% by creating a closed-loop system for processing used restroom hand towels. The towels are collected by Tork PaperCircle’s sustainability partners and taken to local recycling centres where they are processed into other tissue products.
