Makita, a leading power tool manufacturer, has launched a new high-pressure washer powered by an 18V LXT lithium-ion battery.
The new DHW180 LXT high-pressure washer is lightweight and easy to maneuver, with a nozzle design that allows for five different spray patterns, making it a practical choice for a wide range of light cleaning tasks on site.
Weighing just 2.2 kg (without battery), the machine is extremely easy to operate. With a maximum pressure of 24 bar and a maximum water flow of 5.3 l/min, the DHW180 has a continuous run time of up to 82 minutes on a 5.0 Ah battery. So a wide range of outdoor cleaning tasks can be easily completed on a single charge.
Designed with versatility in mind, the DHW180 high-pressure washer has two power modes that can be switched depending on the task, a 5-in-1 nozzle that allows for switchable spray patterns, and a tilted brush head for cleaning hard-to-reach areas. Plus, there’s the option of a foam nozzle or wheel brush to ensure a thorough cleaning.
Convenience is also key to its overall design, as water can be accessed in three ways: a hose connection for a constant supply; a filter tube can be placed in a bucket or for smaller tasks; or a large water bottle can be connected to the pressure washer.
Kevin Brannigan, Marketing Manager at Makita UK, said: “We are delighted to add this new pressure washer to Makita’s growing range of cordless washers. Designed for convenience and practicality, the DHW180 is the ideal solution for a wide range of light-duty jobs.”
