Makita has expanded its 40VMax XGT vacuum cleaner series with the launch of the VC008G Brushless Backpack Vacuum and the CL003G Brushless Vacuum.
Both models are designed to provide greater flexibility, productivity and ease of use for cleaning professionals.
The 40VMax XGT Brushless Backpack Vacuum (VC008G) has a suction power of up to 195W and a dust collection capacity of 2L, making it compact and easy to use. The vacuum cleaner has a built-in HEPA high-efficiency air particle filter that removes 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns and larger, creating a cleaner indoor environment.
It has a telescopic suction tube with a locking device to securely connect the flexible suction tube, and a T-shaped nozzle that can switch between hard floor and carpet modes. The VC008G also has a device that prevents the dust bag compartment from closing if the dust bag is not installed properly.
Weighing just 5.3kg, this backpack vacuum features a shoulder strap design for comfortable wearing, with mesh fabric on the shoulders, back and waist. It also comes with a handy carry handle for easy portability.
Also new to the range is the 40VMax XGT Brushless Vacuum (CL003G), a compact cordless upright vacuum with up to 100W of power and sealed suction up to 20kPa. The new cyclone is integrated into the main body of the vacuum, above the extension tube, making the design of the vacuum more compact.
This means more efficient cleaning, as the main body of the vacuum does not come into contact with the floor or surrounding objects when cleaning tight spaces. The new cyclone also separates more dust from the air, minimising filter clogging.
Both the VC008G and CL003G come with four power settings and a mode memory function for easy operation. Both vacuums feature a high-efficiency brushless motor that eliminates friction and energy waste, delivering more power and longer run time per charge.
Makita has also added a new 5.0Ah XGT Power Kit, perfect for XGT tool owners who want to purchase additional batteries. Available in four versions, the kit includes two or four 5.0Ah batteries and a 110V or 240V DC40RB dual-port fast charger. The kit is packaged in a Makita MAKPAC storage case for easy storage and transportation.
“Our 40VMax XGT cleaning series delivers the power and run time that professionals need to increase productivity,” said Kevin Brannigan, Makita Marketing Manager. “The addition of the VC008G and CL003G gives cleaning contractors and facility managers options that are efficient and meet their specific needs.”
