TikTok-Famous Spin Scrubber Makes Cleaning So Satisfying

by BERG

When I first moved into my rental, my landlord and I had very different definitions of “professionally cleaned.” I hauled everything and drove 10 hours from Kansas to Indiana, only to be shocked by the stained grout, crayon marks on the walls, and caked-on soap scum in the bathroom.

At that moment, I saw a future where I was on my knees, spending a lot of time cleaning up other people’s messes.

So after seeing power spin scrubbers on TikTok and reading our guide to the best power spin scrubbers, I was intrigued.

These tools work like magic, making dirt and grime disappear at the touch of a button—no scrubbing required.

I ultimately decided to spend $50 on a Casabella Power Spin Scubber, and a few months later, I’m glad I did.

It saves me time cleaning every room in my house, and it gets the level of cleanliness I could never get with a bucket and mop.

At just 3.57 pounds, the Casabella Power Spin Scubber is lightweight and portable. It’s also cordless, so you don’t have to worry about the length of the cord while cleaning. It has one super speed that turns on and off with the push of a button. No need to cycle through speeds or modes.

The battery lasts 100 minutes. I never had to run out of power while cleaning my bathroom, kitchen, and floors.

The rotary scrubber comes with four brush heads: a small flat brush for details, a large flat brush for large areas, an angled brush for hard-to-reach areas, and a domed brush for curved spaces like sinks and tubs. Each brush head attaches easily to the scrubber body, but it takes some force to remove.

I love how adjustable the brush heads are. The head swivels 45 and 90 degrees, allowing me to get the right amount of force at the right angle, and the handle extends from 27 inches all the way up to 47.5 inches. This adjustability means you don’t have to bend over or even kneel down to clean.

Once you start it up, you’ll notice that it’s going very fast. While this increases the cleaning power, it also means that the spin scrubber can be difficult to control.

If you don’t use enough force, it will fly out and send everything you’re cleaning flying. It’s certainly much better than manually scrubbing to clean, but it still takes some effort to control it.

I bought the Casabella Power Spin Scrubber primarily for use in my bathroom, and I’ve been blown away by its performance.

One of my most hated chores is cleaning showers and tubs; soap scum and hard water stains are hard to get out. My shower is tiled, and hard water tends to accumulate in the cracks between the tiles, making it very difficult to clean.

My rental home is, to put it mildly, well-loved. My tub is particularly shabby with peeling paint, so it’s hard for me to feel that it’s really clean.

As a renter who cares about cleanliness, it’s really hard to feel that my home isn’t clean.

I don’t like seeing dust and dirt left in my home by others, so it’s usually a struggle to clean. I’m very particular about a thorough clean, especially in the bathroom.

When I used the spinning brush in the shower, the results were amazing. Soap scum was easily removed, and orange-red stains from hard water disappeared quickly. The different brush heads came in handy here, too.

I used the large flat brush to thoroughly clean the tub walls. The dome brush cleaned the curved edges of the tub, and the angled brush cleaned the hard-to-reach areas under the faucet.

After cleaning the shower, the water came out dirty—a sign that my shower was finally clean.

The spinning brush also works great around the sink and toilet. However, I always clean the brush head with disinfectant before cleaning so I don’t spread germs around the house. When cleaning the house, my partner and I always argue over who gets to use the spinning brush first.

The Casabella Power Spin Cleaner isn’t just for the bathroom, though. I use it to clean windows in the kitchen and sunroom, and to clean crevices in the walls.

I reach for it whenever I need to do some heavy-duty cleaning. It really makes cleaning fun because I love seeing the before and after results. It’s so satisfying to watch caked-on dirt slowly disappear.

When I use a rotary scrubber, I make a cleaning solution with hot water, cleaning liquid, and baking soda. I simply spray the solution onto the dirty surface and start scrubbing. It’s recommended that you bring a mop and clean water with you when using this scrubber.

It does a great job of removing any stains, but you’ll also need something to rinse off any remaining residue. Also, since the scrubber has electronics inside, don’t fully submerge anything other than the brush head in water.
