No one was injured when a 500-litre Bowser pressure washer fell from the Mercian building being built for rental apartment client Moda by framing contractor Morrisroe, who was using a crane to lift it.
Details of the incident are unclear, but photos of the accident posted on social media show the heavy pressure washer falling as it was lifted from the roof of the building by a crane.
Images also show lifting chains around the smashed machine on the ground.
A spokesperson for John Sisk & Son said they immediately launched an investigation and worked with Morrisroe to establish the facts.
