Amazon customers claim they are trading in their Dyson and Shark vacuum cleaners for more affordable options as the company launches new spring cleaning deals.
The Smoture VAC01 cordless vacuum cleaner is now just £129.99 with a £30 coupon on the product page, which is nearly 25% off the original £169.99 list price.
Amazon has also slashed the Smoture VAC02 by £30 to £129.99, with the same motor power, capacity, battery life and review scores. Both products are marked as Amazon’s Choice, a label given to highly rated, well-priced products that are available for immediate shipping.
The VAC01 has a powerful motor and strong suction, which the manufacturer claims makes it easy to remove even deep dirt. It offers four cleaning modes – Eco, Standard, Boost and Auto, which can be selected via the touchscreen, MyLondon reports. The Auto mode automatically adjusts the suction power depending on the type of floor.
The display also notifies you of any blockages and shows the battery level, which lasts up to 60 minutes, or 18 minutes in boost mode. The freestanding Smoture comes with a wall-mounted charging dock for easy storage, which charges in four hours and also provides space for the included long flat nozzle and dusting brush.
The Smoture VAC01 cordless vacuum cleaner has an impressive 4.8 stars from over 1,250 reviews, with 97% of them rating it four or five stars.
This vacuum cleaner has been rated higher than Shark’s £189.99 Anti-Tangle Cordless Pet Vacuum and Dyson’s £229.99 V8 Advanced, both of which have 4.4 stars.
The Shark model has slightly shorter battery life than the Smoture, at up to 40 minutes compared to 60 minutes for the Smoture, but comes with the brand’s Anti-Tangle Hair Pet Tool, designed for households with pets to remove hair embedded in furniture.
Dyson has also targeted pet owners with its Anti-Tangle technology, which offers 10% more suction power than the previous V8 model.
