Anker-owned brand Eufy has officially launched a new cleaning system called the Omni E28, which is scheduled to be available on April 23. It is not clear for which regions this release date applies to. The Eufy E28 is a robot vacuum and mop in one, designed to remove dust and stains. It uses a special design that is said to solve the structural problems that many robot vacuums and mops have.
Specifically, the mop rotates at a speed of 180 revolutions per minute, with a contact pressure of about 15 newtons, and continuously wipes clean. This should prevent dirt from spreading everywhere. While this is not important for dust removal, it should help remove dirt and other materials such as spilled ketchup. The manufacturer also advertises a suction power of up to 20,000 Pascals and a retractable side brush. The Eufy robot vacuum can also recognize and avoid objects.
The Anker Eufy E28 also comes with a base station, which has a rather interesting function. More precisely, the FlexiOne is detachable and can be used as a portable deep cleaner. It uses water pressure and water flow to remove stubborn stains. The water is then sucked away, so this deep cleaner can be used to clean items like carpets or upholstered furniture. In addition to the Eufy E28, Anker will also release the Eufy E25, which does not have the aforementioned deep cleaning add-on.
