Ilife, a robot vacuum maker, launched its flagship robot vacuum A8 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Ilife also showcased its classic robot vacuum series, showcasing the company’s latest achievements in robotic cleaning technology.
Among these models, the new A8 robot vacuum cleaner equipped with a 360-degree real-time visual camera navigation system attracted the most attention from the public and the media for its beautiful design and excellent automation, the company said.
Robot vacuum cleaners have been introduced into homes and offices as a cleaning tool without human assistance. Usually, robot vacuum cleaners perform random or planned cleaning. Random cleaning models dominate the market with their competitive prices.
Although planned cleaning robots are smarter, cover larger areas, and have better cleaning effects, high technical requirements and development costs make them a relatively expensive option for consumers.
The A8 is an autonomous navigation robot vacuum cleaner based on PanoView technology, which uses high-definition cameras to accurately navigate space. The collected information will be processed by three built-in data chips and CV-SLAM graphics algorithms for mapping and route planning.
The A8 is equipped with a three-stage cleaning system that allows it to clean along a planned route without missing or repeating any area. In addition, the A8 is equipped with a pause/resume navigation system, which automatically returns to the charging station when the battery is low and continues cleaning after the task is interrupted, making it a cleaner that can clean large rooms autonomously.
In addition, it is equipped with a voice alarm system that broadcasts the device status in real time. At only 7.2 cm thick, the A8 can reach deep under beds and sofas to remove dust and dirt in hard-to-reach areas.
“The launch of the A8 means that consumers have a more affordable choice of robot vacuum cleaners,” said Chen Guanliang, deputy general manager of ilife. “Adhering to the mission of ‘making cleaning easier and life better’, we will continue to bring the highest quality, technologically advanced and reasonably priced robot vacuum cleaner products to consumers around the world.”
Since the Ilife brand products went global in 2015, its market penetration has continued to expand, and Ilife’s technical knowledge and advanced products have also been widely recognized.
ilife will sell the A8 globally through online platforms such as Amazon and AliExpress. In addition to A8, ilife will also showcase its classic models A4s, A6 and V5s Pro at CES.
