The conference and exhibition is organized by Sprint Robotics Collaborative, a non-profit foundation with an end-user orientation.
The program brings together a global community to share innovative advancements and rapid developments in robotics technology and solutions, with a focus on the use of robots for inspection, maintenance, repair and cleaning.
The need for asset owners to improve efficiency and ensure human and environmental safety is driving a rapid acceleration in the development and deployment of new technologies in the inspection, maintenance and cleaning robotics space.
The global industrial inspection and maintenance market is valued at $450 billion, reflecting the enormous opportunity to implement robotic solutions.
“Following the success of the inaugural conference in Galveston, Texas in November 2018, we are proud to announce the second edition of this industry-specific event to support the large-scale adoption of robotics in the inspection and maintenance space,” said George Williamson, Engineering Authority for BP Inspection and Chair of the Conference Program Committee.
“Through this conference, we facilitate the gathering of all stakeholders in a rapidly evolving industry.
“SPRINT Robotics has had a strong presence in the petrochemical sector since its inception.
“This year, the conference agenda will be further expanded to include new market sectors such as energy, civil and public infrastructure and aerospace.
“The program will include more than 60 international speakers, networking opportunities, workshops and an exhibition showcasing and demonstrating robotic solutions from service and technology providers in the fields of industrial inspection, maintenance and cleaning.
“We expect more than 400 thought leaders from the robotics industry to come to Rotterdam. ”
